Been a long time

I have been so busy with being a stay at home mom, barefoot and  pregnant that I have let the blog get away from me. I think of you every day and I will try to promise to be more faithful to you. This pregnancy is a little bit harder on me than the last. I don't know what the factors are that are making it so and I don't even wanna speculate. I have been getting killer heartburn since about the 20th week. Not fun. I wasn't diagnosed with gestational diabetes either which is good. I don't know if I could have handled pricking my finger 5 times a day either. It seems also that I feel this baby moving quite a bit more than Liesl did. I could be wrong though. I was a lot more stressed with Liesl and I am  happy for the difference there. Today I have another Dr appt, I think it is going to start me at once every 2 weeks.  I really like this office this time around. All of the Doctors have been awesome and have not bugged me about a thing. There is not much longer to go here. Looking forward to seeing her cute little face.We have gotten the baby's room all set up for her with lots of help from everyone. Thank you to everyone's painting skills and to Heather for helping me get that crib back together. I was stressing a little about it. The room is of course pink. I am looking for some fabric to make curtains and I was going to stencil some thistles on the wall. Not currently a priority.

Liesl has already been great about the pregnancy and has been a great help around the house....most days. She helps with the dishes, the laundry, picking up her own things, picking out her own clothes since I put a clothes rail down low for her to do so. We painted both of the girl's rooms recently. Liesl's room is purple, she has princess Aurora and Tinkerbell fairy stickers on the wall and some flower shaped shelves on the wall with an Aurora music-box and of course a Tinkerbell statue. She also has some new bedding on the bed. A princess bedspread and pillowcase, Liesl and I made some more princess pillowcases and a bed skirt with princess Tiana and Prince Naveen on it that she picked out. I am quite happy with the room and I think she is too. We also have gotten a little into making "ugly dolls". The latest of dolls I made for her she had quite the hand in designing. When I was finished she giggled and told me that it was perfect. If that isn't the most rewarding feeling I dont know what would have been. I am hoping to make more of them and sell them on Etsy. We shall see how that goes. She is such a chatterbox all of the time. It is so much fun to play with her and her doll houses. She loves to make up songs, She just made up one about how she loves me so much. We have been doing a lot of fun stuff as a family. Henry Ford museum, Zoo days, Dinosaur Museum days and play dates. We are able to let Gavin and Liesl play in their room or in the basement at the Perry's house without too much intervention. It is nice. She has really developed her creative make believe play with and without toys. Makes her pretty self reliant. She is excited about every holiday and looks forward to the next every time. She is very much looking forward to her sister coming and asks about her all of the time, hugs and kisses my belly and tells me of all of the things she will do with and for her little sister. She has already culled out her baby toys and clothes and tells me they are for baby Jeanie. So proud of her.
