Liesl had her gymnastics class yesterday. From what mom tells me, she went on a lot more of the activities but is still working on her listening/following the group skills. But that is what it is all about. She was a lot less shy yesterday and had a lot of fun playing with the parachute. She also had a really good time at Storytime in the library singing and reading the very hungry catterpillar which apparently my mom has never heard and wants to either take out of the library or buy for her.
Sunday we had a baby dance party at Oma Gabi's house, dancing to a Laurie Berkner CD I just downloaded. I really am liking it. thank you Heather for turning me on to her. It really calms Liesl down when I sing the songs to her too. Liesl likes to make everyone participate by grabbing thier hand and bringing them to the "dance floor". She had Oma Ronnie and Opa Peter, Melisa, Oma Gabi and Grandad and of course momma and Ota dancnig with her.
Monday night we visited some friends and Liesl found a new fan. I have never seen her take to someone so fast as with Joslyn. She was asking her to carry her around so she could see Joslyn's birds and little chihuaua and giving her kisses and telling her secrets. very cute.
Liesl has started bringing her "baby" which is my old handmade cabbage patch doll everywhere. from house to house. She doesnt necessarily play with her all the time when she is at wherever she is at but she insists on bringing her everywhere.
She is doing very well with learning animals and fruits and veggies and body parts. She knows to ask to eat and when she wants a bottle. her teeth have really been bothering her though and it has made her a little crabby because she has been waking up alot in the middle of the night. I have been having to give her tylenol more and she has been doing better with it.
