hmmm sleeping.....

She has been having a lot of trouble getting to sleep lately on most occasions. I can feel the molars finally cutting through. But they haven't made it more than a hair out unfortunately.

We visited the Perrys Saturday night to let the babies play. As we were getting ready, I let Liesl know that we were going to Gavin's house to play. She got so antsy about waiting for us that she was complaining at the door that momma and dadda were not moving fast enough and that she was ready now. We all had a good time at the Perrys and tried out the new Mexican place... that opened up in the old Mexican place's place...hehehehe.

Sunday, we spent hanging out in the condo. I had a rough time getting her down for her nap. Tried to get her to go to sleep in her crib. She is really used it it now and doesnt really complain too much. I put on Pandora on Jim's Blackberry and hooked it into the stereo on the "Children's Lullaby" station which helped. Then I rubbed her back and sang to her to get her to calm down. She did a little complaining, not enough to tire herself out...for about an hour an a half.... with a little bit of only what I can call scheming from within her crib. I went down into the basement to organize a little bit so we can start packing up our stuff. When I got back up she managed to get Daddy in her room with her. She had pooped and Daddy could smell it from the other room and I found him in there changing her when I got back upstairs. So... she went to bed the usual way and woke up at 6:30. Just in time for the superbowl. Which she enjoyed so much. I am thinking because of all of the cheering that she could hear coming from the TV. She kept saying "YAY-YAY-YAY-YAY" Which was hilarious. While daddy and Liesl were watching the game, I made the best meatloaf EV-ER with spinach snuck in. Well I shouldn't say snuck because both daddy and Liesl love spinach. I was happy because everyone got their veggies. We all ended the evening very well...despite the usual Liesl interruptions...cheering our "Saints" to victory!
